Information regarding the return of batteries, button cells and accumulators
In connection with the sale of batteries, button cells and accumulators and the supply of devices, batteries and accumulators, and according to the battery directive, we are also obligated to notify you of the following: Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of with regular household waste. As the end user, you are required by law to return batteries and accumulators.
You can return used batteries or accumulators to the point of purchase or immediate vicinity (e.g. communal collection points or local retailers) free of charge.
Batteries or accumulators that contain hazardous substances are also labeled with the crossed-out garbage can. The chemical name of the hazardous substance is found close to the garbage can symbol. Cd stands for cadmium, Pb for lead and Hg for mercury.
