Key Account Manager

To bolster our team, we are looking for you to fill the role of::

Key Account Manager Private Label (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage and further develop existing customer relationships while acquiring and retaining new international customers in the lighting and energy sectors.
  • Take responsibility for the marketing and sales of proprietary products in the lighting and energy sectors.
  • Prepare quotations, including all required documentation and product descriptions, and ensure consistent follow-up throughout the sales process.
  • Conduct customer needs analyses and assess market and competitive conditions.
  • Organize and support customer visits and participation in trade fairs and industry exhibitions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing and Quality Assurance, to develop customized proprietary products tailored to customer requirements.
  • Provide customers with product consulting and technical support regarding product features and specifications.
  • Work closely with production facilities and suppliers in China.
  • Coordinate and communicate production planning, product quality requirements, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with defined quality standards.
  • Develop customer-oriented solutions and adapt products to meet individual customer requirements.
  • Organize and conduct business visits to China as required.

Your professional profile:

  • University degree in Business Administration or completed commercial/vocational training with relevant professional experience in sales.
  • Proven experience in managing key accounts and/or large customers is essential.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office as well as experience with ERP systems and CRM applications.
  • Experience in applying relevant sales methodologies, acquiring new customers, and developing business opportunities, combined with a solid understanding of the market.
  • A high level of customer orientation, service awareness, and empathy, combined with a structured, accurate, proactive, and efficient working style.
  • Strong negotiation skills and at least a good command of written and spoken English.
  • Willingness to travel, particularly for visits to our partners and suppliers in China.
  • A collaborative team player who demonstrates initiative in day-to-day work and is motivated to make a meaningful contribution.
